Step 1 — Unbox Your Device

Step 2 — Download Ledger Live

Ledger Live is the official application to manage your hardware wallet and cryptocurrencies:

1. Visit Ledger.com/start.
2. Download Ledger Live for your operating system.
3. Install and open Ledger Live.
4. Complete the onboarding guide to start managing your assets.

Step 3 — Initialize Your Device

1. Connect your Ledger device via USB (Nano X supports Bluetooth).
2. Select "Set up as new device" on the screen.
3. Create a strong PIN code on the device.
4. Write down the 24-word recovery phrase and store it securely offline.

Important: Never share your recovery phrase. Ledger never requests it online or via support.

Step 4 — Install Cryptocurrency Apps

Install apps for each cryptocurrency you want to manage:

1. Open Ledger Live and navigate to Manager.
2. Connect your device.
3. Select apps to install and click "Install".

Once installed, create accounts for each asset within Ledger Live.
